Terms of service

Last updated: 8 May 2026

These terms govern your use of promptaway.net ("the site") and any workshops or services we provide ("the services"). By using the site or signing up for a workshop, you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who we are

The site is operated by Prompt Away. You can reach us at hello@promptaway.net.

2. What we offer

Prompt Away runs hands-on workshops that teach professionals how to build with AI, including configuring personal AI assistants, building lightweight automations, and shipping small purpose-built tools. Workshop formats, dates, prices, and inclusions are shown on the site at the time of booking.

Workshop content is for general professional development. We do not provide regulated advice (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise). Anything you build during or after a workshop is your responsibility to deploy safely.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's consent if local law allows. By signing up you confirm the information you give us is accurate.

4. Bookings, payments, and cancellations

When you book a workshop, you enter a contract with us. Specific booking terms (price, format, dates, deposit, full payment deadline, refund window) will be presented at the point of booking and form part of the contract.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

5. Acceptable use

While using the site or attending workshops, you agree not to:

6. Intellectual property

The site, brand, copy, and workshop materials (slides, exercises, templates, code samples we provide) are owned by Prompt Away or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own learning and within your business.

Anything you build during or after a workshop — tools, automations, custom prompts, code — belongs to you. We don't claim any rights over your work.

7. Confidentiality

Workshops involve other participants who may share business information about their own work. By taking part you agree to treat anything other participants share in confidence as confidential, unless they explicitly allow you to share it.

8. AI tools and external services

Our workshops use third-party AI services (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and developer tools. These services have their own terms, privacy policies, and data-handling rules. Where you input your or your business's data into these tools, you do so under their terms, and we are not responsible for how they handle that data.

We will recommend safe practices — including what data should never go into an external AI tool — but the final responsibility for what you input is yours.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prompt Away is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, or business opportunity arising out of or related to your use of the site or services.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law (e.g. for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud), our liability is unlimited. Otherwise our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the workshop in question, or 100 EUR if you have not made a payment.

Nothing in these terms removes any non-waivable rights you have as a consumer under UK or Spanish law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Prompt Away against claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the site or services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of someone else's rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the site or services if you breach these terms. You can stop using the site at any time, and request deletion of your account data at hello@promptaway.net.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll always show the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes that affect bookings already made will not apply retroactively.

13. Governing law and disputes

The governing law and competent courts that apply to these terms will be set out in your booking confirmation. Mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence applies in any case.

For consumers in the EU, the European Commission also operates an online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
